An inspector who is a full member of the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HOME INSPECTORS has met the most comprehensive requirements of education, testing and experience in the industry.  HomeCheck Home Inspections is proud to have met these requirements.  No higher standard exists.  A certification as a full member of ASHI indicates a true professional trained to high standards who will put the needs of the client first.  Membership in ASHI is earned and not purchased. 

As an ASHI certified company we invite you to explore the web sites of ASHI and some of the other certification associations.  Notice that ASHI discusses training, education and experience.  See how ASHI requires a long period of training and experience as a Candidate before allowing an inspector to even advertise he is a full member.  ASHI does not try to hide the difficult process required to become a full member.  As ASHI members we are proud of what we have accomplished. Also notice that some of the other associations openly discuss how easy it is to become a "full member",  these associations seem to be marketing how easy it is to become certified, some even ridicule ASHI because of the strict membership requirements.  These other associations actually train their "members" how to convince the buying public that they are experienced.  Make sure you know your home inspection company. 

HomeCheck Home Inspections sometimes loses business to inexperienced and poorly certified home inspection companies due to pricing.  Experienced professionals usually command a higher fee and we fully believe that our experience and training is worth a little more.  When you buy a home worth hundreds of thousands of dollars why save $50 to $100 and then worry about the qualifications of the inspector.  Perhaps you should not think "what is the inspector going to see....but what is he going to miss".  If after participating in the inspection with me you do not feel it was worth the professional fee just tell me and you will not have to pay
